You have seen the other side-by-side off-road vehicles out there. Now get ready to experience the only one good enough to be called a Honda. Introducing Big Red, the Multi-purpose Utility Vehicle (MUV). With a powerful liquid-cooled engine, an innovative automatic transmission and a degree of sophistication that puts any other side-by-side out to pasture, Big Red is ready to get to work or help you have fun. And because it's a Honda, you know this is a vehicle you can count on for years.

Fuel Injected Engine

Some of Honda Big Red's features are easy to see and understand. Like its 675cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, longitudinally mounted engine. Or its revolutionary Honda Automatic Transmission. Or its selectable two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Others are more subtle, like the adjustable, cushion-mounted seat for superior, day-long comfort. Or the wide track for superior off-road handling. One thing’s for sure, though: Once you’ve experienced how Honda can build an MUV, no other side-by-side will do.

Honda Automatic Transmission

This is one of Big Red's best features—the Honda Automatic Transmission. It features a heavy-duty torque converter instead of a drive belt, which means Big Red offers superior durability. The design makes it impervious to water-induced slippage from stream crossings and mud, too.
